You’re coming to Hawaiʻi for my commissioning. Naturally, I turned that into a whole planning project. I did most of the annoying research so you can show up, celebrate with me, and have your own trip.

Maybe I haven’t seen you in years. Maybe you’ve been saying “I need to visit Hawaiʻi” for years. Well, here’s your excuse. This commissioning is a big deal to me, and having you here is the part I’m most excited about.
I’ll do my best to spend quality time with you. With people coming from so many parts of my life, equal time probably isn’t happening. Please don’t sit in your hotel waiting for me to become available. It’s your vacation too. Go enjoy it.

This part of the trip I can absolutely help with. Start with the neighborhood, or open “Pick Your Vibe” if you just know you want to dance. You don’t have to share my stamina. You do need a ride home.
Use the venue links for current menus, events, and hours; Harbor Pub links to its listing. These aren’t rankings. A great jazz lounge and a great 3 a.m. dance floor are answering very different questions.
